Frequently Asked Questions

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through Rover or the contact page linked above! I’ll follow up with any questions, and we can go from there.

  • You can reach me anytime via text or email. We aim to respond quickly—usually within two business days.

  • Drop-in visits are typically 30 min to an hour, depending on the type and number of pets, as well as my availability. We can discuss what works best for your pets and their needs.

  • Overnight stays are a service I offer for pet parents who will be away for multiple days. While you’re away, I stay with your pet in your home to keep disruptions in their care minimal.

I will care for your pets in the morning and overnight with the option for visits during the day depending on your pets’ level of need.

I charge for this service similar to how hotels charge their guests. You would pay a nightly rate for each night I stay at your place. If you need me to come over early in the morning of the first day or stay late for the last day, there may be a small extended care fee (typically 50% of the nightly rate or a drop in visit rate, depending on the situation).

  • I can provide oral and topical medications, but I will request a demonstration during our meet & greet to ensure I’m able to do so properly.

I’m not able to provide injection or other forms of medication due to a lack of experience and training.

  • Yes! I can care for small critters such as guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and rabbits. I’ve also cared for a spider, bearded dragon, and turtle in the past.

If you have another pet, such as a cat or dog, you will be charged for that service, and then, there will be an additional “Critter Fee.”

If you don’t have a cat or dog and only have a critter, we can work together to discuss your pets’ needs and decide on a fair rate together.

  • Any service canceled day of will be required to pay a cancelation fee. This is typically 20% of the agreed upon cost of the service.

That being said, I understand there are some situations outside of our control. Let me know what’s going on, and depending on the situation, we can figure out how best to move forward.
