Hi!

I’m Claudette!

I’m a part-time pet sitter who loves furry creatures of all kinds, and it’s my job to make sure you and your pets are comfortable and happy while you’re away!

About Me

My cat Stella

For two years now, I’ve been a semi-professional, part-time pet sitter, but I’ve loved and cared for pets for as long as I can remember!

Growing up, I helped my grandparents care for a gray tabby cat named Princess, and later, I helped care for my family’s German Shepard named Zella. I even helped care for a neighbor’s pet duck once! But it wasn’t until I was in college that I officially began pet sitting. Throughout the years I’ve sporadically cared for friends, neighbors, and coworkers’ pets, and in 2024, I started sitting regularly through Rover.

Since starting pet sitting, I’ve cared for pets of all ages, sizes, and breeds. I have experience caring for puppies 6 months to a year old, and I’ve often cared for senior dogs and cats. Growing up with a German Shepard, I’m comfortable sitting big dogs, and the dogs I’ve cared for span in size from Great Pyrenees to Maltipoos. While dogs and cats are the majority of my clients, I’ve also cared for a guinea pig and a spider in recent years!

I have a cat of my own, Stella, who I absolutely adore! She’s a senior Calico I adopted earlier this year, and she loves curling up on my chest and watching birds from my porch.

As much as I love pet sitting, I also have a day job where I respond to proposals on behalf of a staffing company. I get to use my love for writing and organization to help our business grow, but after a long day at my desk, getting to play or cuddle with my wide variety of pet sitting clients makes my days brighter!

My Mission

I understand how much trust and responsibility taking care of a pet can be. Pets hold a special place in their owners’ hearts, and I want to treat each pet with the love and care they deserve.

When you entrust me with your pet, I care for them as if they were my own. Nothing is more important than their health and wellbeing, and I do my best to keep any disruptions to pets’ regular schedule and routines to a minimum. While your pet will always notice your absence, I hope to make your time apart as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet.

My mission is for every family to feel comfortable and confident that their pet is cared for while they’re away and to return home to a happy and healthy pet.
